Disney Vacation Club is a timeshare program offered by Disney that gives families the freedom to choose when, where and how often they vacation. Members can explore a breadth of offerings within the Disney Vacation Club through Adventures by Disney, Disney Cruise line and the Disney Concierge Collection which includes thousands of RCI Resort locations around the world. Members can also select from 14 uniquely themed Disney Resort Hotels that keep them close to the magic at their favorite Disney theme parks.

As Associate Creative Director my work has included creating a new visual design language, refreshed brand voice and consistency between media channels that speaks to a new era of consumers. All of this was delivered through a wide range of multimedia platforms including TV, print, direct mail, out-of-home and digital media. I oversaw a team of Art Directors, Graphic Designers and Production Designers all while handling an array of projects from photoshoots to designing a Muppet with a team at Jim Henson's Creature Shop.

The Disney Vacation Club's old Dreambook was dated, poorly designed and its packaging was nothing more than a FedEx box. Given the high cost of a Disney Vacation Club membership, it was our assessment that the initial experience delivered by the Dreambook was underwhelming. We set out to create a new Dreambook that, with large colorful photographs, emulated a high end coffee table book which prospective Disneyphiles would likely keep for ever. Every production and art direction detail was meticulously massaged. The final product felt upscale and has been coveted by all Disney admirers.

My team's job was to develop a 20 minute in-room TV spot that would inspire guests to learn more about Disney Vacation Club by taking a tour during their stay at Walt Disney World, Disneyland, Disney Cruise Line or Aulani. Our approach was to create a fresh voice that would delight both the young and the young at heart.

Phil, a friendly guy in his late twenties, and Bob, the original Disney Vacation Club puppet were the TV spot's stars. Throughout the program, viewers follow the pair through their tour experience from start to finish. They get to know their funny banter and friendly dynamic that is so uniquely Disney in its delivery.

In addition to helping guide the writing team so that its members stayed on strategy and brand, working with wardrobe and scouting, I also worked with Jim Henson's Creature Shop to help design and create the puppet, Bob. One of the highlights was auditioning the talent that eventually become the voice of Bob. From start to finish this was a 3 month long project that felt like a dream come true.

When we first started to rebrand the Disney Vacation Club, we asked ourselves: How do we on-board new Members? Because it is the most expensive product in the Disney portfolio, $25,000 to be exact, we wanted to confirm for new Members that they had made the right/magical choice.

Every production detail, from the paper weight and gloss to the foil quality, was taken into account. By customizing all the brochures and certificates to each new member so that the photography would resonate with the new member's demographics, family size and choice of resort, we helped ensure that our new members could visualize themselves and their experience with Disney Vacation Club.

Symbi Safari was founded with a reverent spirit and a revolutionary objective: to create a thrilling, socially-conscious and surprisingly accessible safari experience, that not only feeds the spirit of adventure, but also empowers the lives of those who stand at the heart of it: its hardworking Tanzanian staff and community.

As ACD, I was in charge of overseeing the design, look and feel but I was also leading the team in crafting the strategic voice that has led this special brand to be a top choice for its key demographic. Symbi Safari has stood out among all other safari brands since its launch and promises to be a leader in its category.

Burt's Bees is an earth-friendly and natural personal care company that is loved by virtually everyone. Headquartered out of Durham, North Carolina, the Burt empire cranks out lip balm like nobody's business.

As the Associate Creative Director I oversaw photoshoots, led the Art Directors in designing the new tagline and helped evolve the brand by ideating and executing guerrilla tactics and moving the brand into the digital space.

Partnered with a ACD writer, my duties were to not only design but to lead the creative team in developing the Direct Mail pieces which essentially served as the heroes during the spot. The DM pieces showed how mail has evolved over the course of a young girls life.

Creating an animated Mickey was a dream come true for my team! We not only got to play with the mouse, but we also got to develop a new look and feel for the announcement.
